Using a literary piece, particularly a play, was one of the most efficient tools I could use to create a more engaging educational experience that would cater for the students’ needs and would motivate them. Throughout the previous activities that I taught in the specific class, I was taken aback by the fact that students lack creative skills and are regulated to operate in a sterile, automatic, intellectually and spiritually infertile way in the learning process, as a result of a constantly failing educational system which leaves them less and less motivated.
